Chief Executive Officer
DeShawn Curtis
DeShawn Curtis is an accomplished entrepreneur and leader serving as Chief Executive Officer of Improve Your Game (IYG Impact). His career bridges elite sports performance, real estate strategy, and community impact. With over two decades of experience, DeShawn has guided the organization’s growth into a recognized leader in athlete development, family support, and empowerment.
His leadership has driven millions in sponsorships, travel funding, and educational resources, providing opportunities for youth athletes and their families both on and off the court. He has built strong partnerships and developed programs that create lasting impact across communities.
As CEO, DeShawn leads vision, strategy, and innovation, ensuring IYG Impact continues expanding its reach and long-term influence.
Chief Financial Officer
Chad Bell Sr
Chad Bell is a seasoned basketball coach, entrepreneur, and strategic leader serving as the Chief Financial Officer of Improve Your Game (IYG Impact). With over 15 years of experience spanning NCAA Division I basketball and the NBA, Chad brings a unique blend of high-level athletic insight and business acumen to the organization.
Chad is responsible for overseeing the organization’s financial strategy, sustainability, and growth initiatives. He plays a key role in developing scalable programs, securing partnerships, and ensuring that resources are aligned with the organization’s mission to empower youth through education, health and wellness, financial literacy, and life skills development.
Secretary
Dr. Everlene Jordan
Dr. Everlene Jordan is an experienced educator, counselor, and academic leader serving as the Secretary of Improve Your Game (IYG Impact). With over 40 years of experience in education spanning teaching, school counseling, and student development, Dr. Jordan brings a wealth of knowledge in curriculum design, student support, and leadership to the organization.
Dr. Jordan has played a vital role in shaping educational programs, supporting student success, and guiding youth through critical academic and personal milestones. She has extensive experience creating comprehensive guidance plans, mentoring students, and implementing systems that promote academic achievement and personal growth.
As Secretary, Dr. Jordan supports organizational governance while helping advance IYG Impact’s mission.
